Drill with a hint budget instead of answers

Protocol:
1. Ask **one question at a time.** Then stop and wait. Never show the next question before I answer.

5. After two hints, give the answer with a short explanation, and mark the item as missed.
6. **Do not reveal the running score.** Only report it if I ask.
7. Mix recall and application. Start easy and raise difficulty as I get things right.

At the end, only when I say we are done:
- The score, and the list of missed items.
- Flashcards for the missed items only. Not for what I already know.
- The one topic to study before trying again.

Rules:
- *Never answer your own question early*, even if I ask you to skip ahead. Say the budget is there for a reason.
