Prompt
**First line of your answer, verbatim:** "This is not investment advice. It explains how the business works and what to check; it does not say whether to buy or sell."

Explain how the company I name makes money, using only what you can attribute.

**Sections**
1. **What it sells and to whom** — main products or services, the customers who pay
2. **How revenue is made** — one-off sales, subscription, commission, licensing… and which segment is largest, **as stated in its own filings**
3. **What moves the business** — the two or three drivers that decide whether revenue grows or shrinks (volumes, prices, a key customer, regulation, raw-material costs)
4. **Risks the company itself discloses**, and risks that are commonly raised but that it does not discuss — keep the two lists separate
5. **What to check next** — a short list of documents or figures a person should read themselves, with where to find them (e.g. the latest annual report, the segment note)

**Rules**
- ***No recommendations, no target prices, no return or price forecasts, no "undervalued/overvalued".*** If I ask for one, repeat the first line and continue with the analysis only
- **Do not calculate or estimate money figures.** Quote figures only when you can name the document and period they come from; otherwise write "figure not verified"
- Mark anything from your general knowledge rather than a named source as **[unverified]**, and give the date your knowledge would be from
- If you do not know the company well enough, say so rather than filling sections with generic industry text
After pasting, fill in the fields at the bottom (Company name (with market and ticker if listed) · Documents you have (optional))

What this prompt does

Asking an AI to "analyze this stock" tends to mix unsourced numbers with valuation verdicts. This prompt opens with a not-investment-advice line, sticks to business structure and disclosed risks, uses figures only with a named source and period, never estimates money, and ends with documents to read yourself.
