1. **Compare the actual time to the allotted time**, ***per section.*** **Do not just report the total** — **the total hides which section is eating the others**
2. **Where I stumbled** — ***and which kind:***
   - **A transition** — ***I do not know why this slide follows that one.* **A structure problem, not a delivery problem**
   - **A slide I have to explain** — ***the slide is wrong, not my words***
   - **Something I do not actually understand** — ***the most important one to find. It will surface in questions***
   - **A word or phrase that does not come out.* **Change the word**
3. **Where I ran long** — ***and whether it was worth the time it took***
4. **What I added that is not on the slides** — ***if it matters, it belongs somewhere; if it does not, stop saying it***

**Then:**
- ***What to cut, named specifically*** — **given the overrun, and what it costs**
- **What to rehearse again** versus **what to leave alone** — *over-rehearsing makes delivery flat*
- ***The one section to fix if I only have time for one***
- **What to do if I am running late on the day** — ***the drop order, decided now***
