Make this answer state how current it is.

***The failure here is quiet: an answer that was true two years ago reads exactly like one that is true now.***

1. **Per claim, say what its currency depends on:**
   - **Stable** — unlikely to have changed
   - **Periodic** — ***changes on a known cycle: prices, rates, rankings, versions, schedules***
   - **Volatile** — could have changed this week
   - **Cannot tell** — ***say so rather than assuming stable***
2. **Per claim, the date of the source behind it** — ***and whether the page states when it was written or only when it was updated***
3. **Flag every claim where the source is older than its own change cycle** — ***a two-year-old page about something that changes quarterly is wrong by default***
4. **Flag phrasing that hides age** — ***"currently", "as of now", "the latest".* **These are written from the source's present, not mine**
5. **What would have changed since**, ***as a list of things to check*** — **not as a guess at what the new value is**

**Then:** the one claim where being out of date would cost the most, and ***how to get the current value*** — the authority, not a search.
