Adapt this deck for a remote presentation.

1. **Legibility on a shared screen** — ***what stops being readable on a laptop, or on a phone.* **Say what specifically**
2. **What loses its meaning when the audience cannot see me** — ***anything where I pointed, gestured, or paused for effect.* **It has to be on the slide instead**
3. **Where attention will go** — ***remote audiences are doing something else. Say where the deck needs a reason to look back***
4. **Slides that need to be broken up** — ***a dense slide I would walk through in a room is where people leave, remotely***
5. **What needs to be said out loud that a room would have inferred** — ***"we're on slide four", "I'm moving on"***

**Then:**
- **How to handle questions** — ***taken at the end or during, and how to say which.* **Decide, and say it at the start**
- ***What to do about silence*** — **it means nothing remotely, and reading it as agreement is the common mistake**
- **What to send, and when** — ***before or after, and what that changes***
- ***What to do if the connection or the screen share fails*** — **the version of this I can present with no slides at all**
