Make review questions from this lecture transcript. Produce three sets: 1. Recall — facts, definitions, and terms stated in the lecture. Question and answer. 2. Understanding — questions that require explaining why, not repeating what. Include what a correct answer must contain. 3. Application — one or two problems that use the lecture's method on a new case. *Only if the lecture actually taught a method.* Then: 4. Unclear in the lecture — points the lecturer glossed over or contradicted. These need another source. 5. The three questions most likely to appear on an exam, and why. Rules: - *Ask nothing outside what the lecture covered*, even if it is standard for the subject. Out-of-scope questions make me study the wrong thing. - Answers must be traceable to the transcript. Where an answer is partly inferred, say so. - Do not write questions that can be answered by pattern-matching the wording.

What this prompt does
Watching a lecture creates a false sense of knowing it. This generates questions strictly within the lecture's scope, separating recall from application, and marks passages the lecture glossed over so you check them elsewhere.
