Lay out a process page in a portfolio

Lay out a process section for my portfolio.

Produce:
1. Which artifacts to show, in order, and what each one proves about my thinking.
2. What to cut. Process sections fail by including everything.
3. A caption for each kept artifact — one line, stating the decision it represents, not what it depicts.
4. Where a rejected direction should appear. Showing one is strong; showing five is indecisive.
5. The transition line between each pair of artifacts, so the sequence reads as reasoning rather than a gallery.

Rules:
- *A caption that describes the image is wasted.* The reader can see it. The caption carries the decision.
- Do not invent artifacts I do not have. If the sequence has a hole, say what would fill it.
- Keep it under six artifacts unless the process itself is the point of the piece.
